Sculptra BODY training was such a great experience! Huge thanks to Lauren Scott, MN, NP-PHC for sharing her incredible wealth of knowledge and to my amazing representative, Kristi H for making opportunities like this possible. 🫶🏼
I’m going to start sharing more of the trainings I attend and continuing education, taking you behind the scenes of what that education actually looks like!
My goal is to give you, as a patient, a better understanding of the level of ongoing training, education, and hands-on learning that goes into being an injector who is committed to continually refining her knowledge and skills and providing thoughtful, evidence-informed care. (Fingers crossed 🤞🏼 I stay on top of posting 😅)

Any procedures shown during these trainings are performed by licensed healthcare professionals, including nurses and nurse practitioners, in an appropriate clinical training environment.
What is Sculptra? SCULPTRA IS NOT A DERMAL FILLER. Sculptra is an injectable biostimulator composed of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). Following injection, the PLLA microparticles create a controlled tissue response that recruits cells involved in formation of new collagen and elastin fibers, stimulating the body to produce its own structural proteins.
This process supports extracellular matrix remodeling, helping restore the structural integrity and quality of the skin. By stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, Sculptra works across the layers of the skin to progressively improve skin firmness, elasticity, volume, radiance, and skin laxity.
The biological response is gradual. Collagen stimulation begins as early as 14 days following treatment, with visible changes developing progressively over the following weeks and months. Because Sculptra relies on the body’s own regenerative response, the goal is progressive tissue remodeling and biostimulation.
