Today, my nervous system needed some extra care.
I lay on the grass while my sweet friend The Touch Tree Collective gently held space for me on the phone, helping me come back into my body and reconnect with the present moment. Sometimes, healing isn’t about doing more—it’s about allowing someone to lovingly hold space for you. And she’s truly gifted at that.
Then came the sweetest surprise.
Willow was free to wander wherever she wanted, yet she chose to stay right beside me. Quietly. Patiently. Present.
What a privilege it is to be loved by her.
Most people know Willow as my energetic, goofy, always-on-the-go dog. But there’s another side to her that not everyone gets to see. She has an incredible sensitivity and an innate ability to know exactly when I’m in need. Time and time again, she shows up with a presence that asks for nothing and offers everything.
Our animals have a beautiful way of reminding us that sometimes, simply being there is the greatest act of love.
