Gwen passed away this morning peacefully in her sleep. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. The family thanks everyone for all of the visits, messages, thoughts and prayers in this difficult time.

I have very heavy news to share. Gwen, the mastermind behind all the amazing dehydrated food products, had a massive stroke over the weekend. Friends and family who would like to visit her at the Olds hospital should do so. Her prognosis is not favorable. Prayers are also appreciated. Updates from the family will be posted below as they become available.

March 25 Update
Much the same. She's had many visitors today. She is moving and opening her eyes. When her son left she was a bit more sleepy. They’ve gone ahead with administering IV to keep her hydrated and see how that effects her recovery.

March 27 Update
Yesterday Gwen was very out of it and not responsive to people being in the room like she was on the 25th. She seemed to be having difficulty breathing as well and that has gotten worse today. But she is squeezing hands today again and opening her eyes. She was holding her head like she has a headache so she was given some pain medication. She has had some things brought from home like her pillow and crystal to give her a sense of home.

March 28 Update
Today Gwen has been less responsive and her breathing is coming harder. Her times awake she seems to be in pain and not knowing what is going on and has been given pain medicine to help her be more comfortable. She is slightly squeezing hands when she is more awake.

Well Baby it's Cold outside – so Kettle 'n' Cauldron has been creating the most wonderful aromas in our kitchen. We have just made up a fresh batch of our Curry Carrot Bouillon and the savory fragrance fills the senses and whets the appetite. This bouillon adds an extra bit of pizzaz to any of your creamy curry soups or your curry casseroles. Our Kettles are hot, our Cauldrons are full and our coffee cups are anxiously awaiting the official launch of the new cordycep infused Live Pure Coffee we have recently added to our "Just Add Water" list of nutritious dehydrated foods. We are gearing up for the Olds Farmers Market with our dehydrated food so we are stirring up bowls of Goodness everyday to present to the Olds and Area community come June.
