I am thrilled to have Dazz added to the BEMT team. This hard working mare was a little unsure of what was happening when we first started our session. It didn’t take her too long to figure it out! I am always so happy to see a tentative horse, relax and let go of some tension! 💕
Her session included a mix of everything from fascia release, red light, stretching, muscle work and of course finishing her session with the Bemer blanket.

Mr. Hank is starting to relax his jaw! This sweet boy often tenses up in his neck, shoulders, and jaw. It's taken some time, but he's finally letting go of that tension. I'm thrilled to see him taking the initiative to stretch his head and neck on his own.

Are these 2 photos debatable? Absolutely!! Same horse, taken about an hour apart. The first one is right at the beginning of our session, the second one at the end.
Obvious could haves: “The horse was put in that position”, “bad camera timing”… I could go on and on.
Both photos the horse put herself where she was most comfortable”. All I did was take a picture. My goal isn’t to bring awareness through staged photos, that is counter productive and negates what my purpose of massage is.
So what do I see? The power of what massage therapy does. Yes there is still a lot more to address with this mare, but the changes I see in only 1 session bring me a wealth of emotions and a strong drive to keep learning more about this amazing animal and techniques to help improve their overall muscle health.

Thank you to Vic and Stewart for having me out and working on some talented seasoned horses and a few new OTTB’s that are just beginning their journey to be eventers.
