To those of you who don’t know me, hi, I’m Gillian. I’m a Registered Psychotherapist, and I wrote a book called Talking To Your Highly Sensitive Child.

One in five children is born highly sensitive, often leaving parents and teachers struggling to manage their intense sensory overload and meltdowns. In my book, Talking To Your Highly Sensitive Child, I translate complex neurobiology into accessible, everyday parenting tools

What makes this book completely unique is that it includes three age-appropriate, illustrated stories for children to join in on the learning. Parents can read these directly with children aged two to twelve to safely open up conversations about big emotions and behavioural self-regulation.
