It is with great excitement and sadness that Bougie Boo Body Mods will be going into hibernation effectively starting on November 30, 2025, as a new chapter opens up with bigger opportunities!

I am excited to announce that I will be bringing my quality and skills over to Steel N Ink, located within Oshawa Centre, starting December 8, 2025.

Steel N Ink will be opening their location within the early weeks of December. In that duration, I will provide a link as to where you can personally book your piercings with me and continue to receive quality services 💜 Keep an eye out for that update when it lands!!

I absolutely love this clients choice of placement preference. Did you know you can position a Tongue piercing virtually in any location on your Tongue (pending anatomy and artery position).

A Tragus night ‘twas had and two great outcomes came out on top with a lot of laughs, bonding, and trust. 💕

A Tragus piercing is a perfectly daring, yet dainty complementary piercing that is subtle and unique from your typical ear piercing.

A Tragus piercing typically takes about 4-6 months to heal, but depending on your body’s ability to heal and your aftercare routine, you can be looking at 6-9 months for a full healing period.

A lot of people are always concerned and curious about being able to wear ear buds with a tragus piercing. You are quite capable of wearing your favourite ear buds for you listening enjoyment. It may not be entirely comfortable or recommended for the first 3 weeks of healing, but with some mindfulness and an upkeep with your aftercare, you can multitask this piercing like a pro!

Flat Piercings are super fun with placement varieties! Having such a space to play with, you can never go wrong with an inspirational design for a singular or even multiple piercings.

Flats are part of the Cartilage family, which means the pain ratio can be about 5/10 (maybe a 6/10, depending your pain tolerance) and on average, you would be looking at 6-9 months for a healing duration.

Through that time, you will experience ups and downs of your piercing being happy and angry. All cartilage piercings take time and patience to veteran through.

After the first 3 weeks of your initial piercing, you will require a downsize so you can avoid irritation bumps and migrations. Bougie does offer downsizing services for optimal healing outcomes.

✨Downsizing✨is actually part the process of a successfully healed piercing! Generally Downsizing is recommended 3-weeks after you get your piercing done.

3 weeks is the minimum time when the swelling reduces (depending on the type of piercing). In order to avoid painful irritation bumps, discomfort, or migration of the angle, a downsize is recommended.

Most people are unaware of this process and may experience those outcomes, followed with confusion to why it has happened.

Downsize services are $20.00 *Not* including the Jewelry. Jewelry selections start at $40.
