"If we're in a real crisis and we're not sure what to do, we're gonna relax the requirements... But we have still exempted the COVID-19 vaccines from being proven safe and effective to this day, and we're still injecting children with them... We have not required them to go through the regular process of being proven safe and effective. To me, that is a political decision, and it's part of what's going on."

Constitutional lawyer Shawn Buckley raises a question that goes to the heart of the COVID-19 vaccine debate: Why are these products still exempt from having to meet the same standard of proof for safety and effectiveness that Canadians might expect of other medical products?

These are not questions that should be ignored or dismissed. They are questions that deserve answers.

The Allison Inquiry will bring Canadians together on Parliament Hill to ensure these conversations, and the experiences of those injured, are heard.

Quebec Professor Patrick Provost, who was injured by the Covid-19 vaccine and then fired for questioning it's safety, joined the Quebec radio show "Maurais Live" to discuss the upcoming Allison Inquiry and why he believes Canadians need an opportunity to be heard.

Provost, who is scheduled to testify on September 8, spoke about the scale of the response to the Inquiry, with more than 1,000 Canadians applying to share their experiences. Over four days, approximately 50 witnesses will testify as part of an effort to create a public record of what vaccine-injured Canadians have experienced.

He also emphasized that the Allison Inquiry is a citizen-led, non-partisan initiative taking place on Parliament Hill and that Members of Parliament and Senators from all parties have been invited to attend.

“MPs, whether Conservative or not, need to be there.”

$55 MILLION FOR VACCINE-INJURED. $35 MILLION SPENT ON ADMINISTRATION.

MP Dean Allison highlights the troubling numbers surrounding Canada’s Vaccine Injury Support Program.

More than $55 million was contributed to the program, with approximately $35 million spent on overhead. Meanwhile, government records show nearly 60,000 Canadians registered as injured, including approximately 11,000 serious injuries.

Of the roughly 3,500 people who applied, approximately 3,000 were accepted—but only 252 received any form of compensation.

MP Allison says that is simply unacceptable.

These are some of the questions that need to be discussed. And they need to be discussed where they belong: in Parliament.

That is why the Allison Inquiry is bringing Canadians to Ottawa.

"Pre-COVID, doctors could submit (vaccine injury reports) directly to Health Canada, but as COVID approached, before it happened, they changed it so in every province, you had to submit to a provincial board.
The College of Physicians and Surgeons are breaking the law if they're not ensuring that all of their doctors comply with public health orders, and the public health orders were directing everyone to get vaccinated. Well, this is by design. This was put into place beforehand.
Anyone can go to the Allison Inquiry website, go to Exhibits and look at the Canadian law. These are government publications."

“I don’t even want to call them vaccine-injured anymore. I want to call them vaccine victims.”

That is how Shawn Buckley describes the Canadians he has been meeting as part of the work leading up to the Allison Inquiry.

After examining and speaking with vaccine-injured people for years, Shawn says the stories coming forward have taken an emotional toll on everyone involved in the process. Volunteers screening applications have broken down in tears as they read the experiences of Canadians who have been waiting for someone to listen.

“The amount of suffering is unbelievable.”

That is why the Allison Inquiry matters.

From September 8–11, 2026, Canadians injured by COVID-19 vaccines will come to Parliament Hill to tell their stories directly to Members of Parliament. Their experiences deserve to be heard.

MP Dean Allison has a message for Canadians: Keep showing up. Keep sharing the stories. Keep asking your MPs to listen.

In this conversation with React19, Dean Allison speaks about the importance of creating awareness around the experiences of Canadians injured by COVID-19 vaccines.

“We’d love to have all 343 members show up,” he says. While he recognizes that may not happen, it will not stop the Allison Inquiry from moving forward, creating a record, and starting a conversation that Canadians have waited far too long to have.

Every person who contacts their MP, shares a story, or encourages others to pay attention is helping build awareness. And as Dean Allison points out, if an MP cannot attend, perhaps a member of their staff can come and hear the testimony.

The stories need to be told. And they need to be heard.
