Almost 5 years ago I decided to open a fun side passion project and started selling plant-based milk at the local Ottawa Farmers' Markets. I met the most amazing customers, made some great friends and loved being a part of the Ottawa makers community.

It's been a fun journey but sadly I have decided to close, and this Sunday, April 24 will be our final delivery. If you want to stock up on our frozen oat milk or cookie kits, you can still order on our Milk Shop until this Saturday at 6 pm 🛒 ➡️ www.hippiemylk.com/shop

It's almost February when a lot of healthy new year's resolutions start to fail. But we're here to encourage you not to give up! Here are 5 reasons to keep investing in your health with our handcrafted oat milk:

1. No carrageenan - Carrageenan has been attributed to inflammation and has no nutritional benefits, so there’s no reason to put it in our oat milk.

2. No fillers - A lot of dairy-free milk is made with fewer whole food ingredients and use fillers to make up for that. Yuck! You won't find that in our oat milk.

3. 100% whole-food and plant-based ingredients - We support community-based agriculture by purchasing the highest quality ingredients from small, local growers whenever possible, even if it costs more.

4. No High-Pressure Pasteurization (HPP) - We do not use High-Pressure Pasteurization (HPP) because it inactivates certain proteins and natural beneficial bacteria.

5. Frozen - Our oat milk is made from raw ingredients and then frozen immediately to ensure that all nutrients and proteins are retained for natural preservation.
