The HennaPhilic brings you the essence of intricate traditional henna art, combined with the hottest new contemporary tattoo art trend of modern pop-culture right in the heart of St. John's, Newfoundland. Henna art has been practiced safely across different cultures for centuries, and has evolved through time to bring up a diverse variety of ethnic, floral, geometrical and symmetrical patterns. To

day, henna art is popular in North America as temporary henna tattoo that is 100% natural, safe to apply, completely painless, and can be used by ALL irrespective of one's age, gender, culture, ethnicity, or spiritual beliefs. The HennaPhilic offers you henna services and much more; my desire is to communicate through my art and creativity and make great connections along the way! I am a passionate henna artist who has been practicing this art form that is a part of my South Asian culture! � it is exquisitely beautiful and soothing! For those of you who don't know what henna is, it is a natural dye from the leaves of the HENNA plant (Lawsonia inermis) that stains our skin temporarily. The stain is reddish/brownish and lasts 7-10 days or longer depending on how dark the color is, and of course, individual skin chemistry. The henna I use is sans PPD and other harmful chemicals, ordered from within Canada. It will NOT cause any harmful reactions on skin in any way. For individuals with skin allergies or other skin conditions, I recommend doing a skin test on a small area of the skin for precautionary measures. I am taking bookings all through this spring/summer and later for different occasions as follows:

Hi, my name is Hridisha and I am the owner of The HennaPhilic. The name of my business is a combination of my love for both henna and chemistry, and I am here to share my art with other “hennaphiles”.

The HennaPhilic offers a blend of traditional henna art and contemporary tattoo trends, catering to diverse audiences regardless of age, race, gender, culture, or beliefs. With a focus on intricate designs inspired by various cultures and the use of natural, chemical-free henna, I ensure a safe and painless experience.
