Bottom navels are soooo underrated 💎✨

Our friend here had their top navel pierced over 9 years ago, but over time the tissue naturally became thinner and their anatomy was better suited for a floating navel in the healed top piercing. That didn’t mean giving up the sparkle though 👏

We added a bottom navel where their anatomy aligned properly, giving them the best of both worlds while working with their body instead of against it 🫶🏻

A good piercer will always prioritize anatomy and long term healing over forcing a placement. Sometimes the “alternative” options end up being the cutest ones anyway 🙂‍↕️

Love the look of a lip piercing but not the idea of jewelry rubbing against your teeth and gums all day? A vertical labret is a super popular alternative because it passes through the lip instead of sitting inside the mouth, meaning there’s way less risk of tooth and gum damage compared to many oral piercings 👏

They’re also great for showing off cute jewelry since both ends are visible, and once healed they’re generally pretty comfortable for everyday life, kissing, talking, and eating included 🙂‍↕️
