This is a call out for a local person (+18 and over) to fill the new role as Artist in Residence. You can be a poet, musician, painter, photographer, weaver….any human creativity that moves you.

Just come and visit us, and pitch your idea. We will choose one person this FalL. Honorarium will be paid.

Thanks to our neighbor Earl who made this cute little birdhouse for us a number of years ago.

Preference will be made for First Nations creators.

What a beautiful day. We had a steady stream of curious people. Unfortunately, our beautiful new sign blew over in the last windstorm and a few strong backs are needed to fix it up.

I spent the day sitting with Goose in the juvenile Turkey enclosure. He was practicing ignoring the turkeys. He did pretty well, no Turkey was harmed in the training.

He’s taken a strange obsession for degiusting thé Turkey droppings. Not sure what to do about that.
