THANK YOU to Mane West Salon | Clean Beauty Boutique and Humen Kind for organizing the amazing Farm to Chair Community Fun Day in Stittsville in support of our SPG4 Cure Fundraiser and donating their time and talent to make this such a special event! 💙🌿

The 2nd Annual Chelly Adult Hockey Tournament is hitting the ice September 10–11 at the Bell Sensplex — and this year, proceeds will support our family’s fight to help find a cure for SPG4. 💙

We’re looking for PRIZE DONATIONS to help make the tournament an incredible success! 🎁🏆

Some people don’t just support your family — they step into the fight beside you and make it their own.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to 4 in Love Studio and the entire Liu family for continuing to champion the fight for a cure for SPG4 and for our son, Jack.

Many of you know Yan as the incredibly talented photographer behind 4 in Love Studio, capturing sports teams, families and community events through his lens.
But what makes Yan’s work especially meaningful is the heart he brings to it — both for the people he works with and in the genuine connections he builds with his clients. He has generously chosen to donate a portion of his proceeds toward SPG4 research — helping us fight for a cure so Jack doesn’t have to lose his abilities. So that our son has a chance.

You may also know Yan as “Lemonade Stand Dad.” 🍋 His son Liam has become well known around Stittsville for his heartwarming lemonade stand supporting Jack — even attracting Ottawa Senators players and earning recognition from Councillor Glen Gower with a Certificate of Appreciation.

We feel incredibly lucky to call the Liu family our friends. They have gone above and beyond for our family, standing beside us in this uphill battle and helping us fight for the future every parent wants for their child — a future where Jack can grow up, keep doing the things he loves and live a full and normal life.

Yan, Jackie, Liam and Lexi, thank you for using your talents, your time and your hearts to fight alongside us. Thank you for believing that a cure is possible and for helping us get closer to it.💙

✂️🎈Community fun day - August 29th! ✂️🎈

We are so grateful to Mane West Salon | Clean Beauty Boutique, Humen Kind, and especially Courtney for including our family’s SPG4 fundraiser in their Farm to Chair Community Fun Day in Stittsville! 💙

This is especially meaningful to us because Courtney gave Jack his very first haircut and is still his hairdresser today! She has watched him grow up in her chair, and having her support Jack and our fight for a cure is incredibly special to our family.

⚾️💙 Thank you to the 13U Rep Kanata Cubs for welcoming our family to your tournament and giving Jack the special honour of throwing out the first pitch. A big thank you as well to Jack’s very first teacher, his kindergarten teacher, for opening the tournament with such a heartfelt speech about Jack. It was a special moment and a memory we won’t forget!

The Cubs raised an incredible $2,540 through their bottle drive, all to help bring us closer to a cure for Jack and SPG4.

We also want to say a heartfelt thank you to Kendall, who made and sold bracelets and raised another amazing $547 for Jack. Knowing she put so much of her time and heart into helping our son means more to us than we can say. 💙

Thank you to the 13U Kanata Cubs and Kendall for standing beside our family and showing Jack just how many incredible people are behind him in this fight. We are so grateful! ⚾️💙
