Roger Neilson Children's Hospice Pediatric palliative care hospice. We are here to enrich the quality of every life, no matter how short. Roger's House is about living life to the fullest.

Roger's House is a pediatric palliative care hospice located in Ottawa Ontario that delivers compassionate care to children living with life limiting illnesses. The experience of a "home away from home" fosters freedom, security, pleasure, and quality of family life. Children, youth and their families living with a progressive life limiting illness are entitled to access comprehensive palliative care services. This timely, holistic, patient and family-focused, culturally sensitive care is enhanced by the experience of Roger's House. Roger's House will be recognized for providing excellence, innovation, research and leadership in pediatric palliative care through a full-spectrum of family-centered services in a supportive home-like environment. We're so proud to share a collaborative music video created with We Are All Musicians at Carleton University.

Children and youth from RNCH programs worked together to write an original song celebrating the many ways we communicate, connect, and express ourselves through music.

The project reflects the creativity, inclusion, and sense of community that define RNCH and those who support our work.

Special thanks goes to our Rec Therapist Sam, the kids involved and the team with We Are All Musicians, including Jesse Stewart.

Tonight, we will join communities around the world for the Wave of Light, a meaningful remembrance event honouring babies who have died during pregnancy or shortly after birth.

Families and friends are invited to light a candle at 7 p.m. local time and take a moment to remember the children who will always be loved. To all the families carrying love and loss in their hearts: we honour your journey and we remember with you.

This year’s theme asks, “What hat will you wear to close the gap?”

As our 20th anniversary celebrations continue, this year has given us an opportunity to reflect as a team and recognize the impact we’ve had on thousands of children and families.

We’re privileged to provide compassionate, family-centred care, and for the opportunity to be part of closing the gap for children and families who need palliative care.
