🌿 Postpartum Skin Reality Check + A 10/10 Spa Recommendation ✨
Let’s be real for a second—postpartum life is a beautiful blur, but nobody warned me about the hormonal acne! 🥹 Down below is a little peek into my recent skin journey and how I managed to get my glow back just in time for Eid.
The Journey:
The Struggle: A few weeks postpartum, and my skin decided to break out into some of the worst cystic acne I’ve ever experienced.
The Solution: I visited Kalon Spa in Barrhaven for a much-needed facial.
The Experience: Grace was absolutely amazing and so welcoming. The best part? She let me bring my little one along! From a deep cleanse and steaming to painful (but necessary) extractions and hydrating Korean skincare products, she worked absolute wonders.
The Results: Even though my skin looked a bit rough right after the extractions, it settled beautifully by the next day. Fast forward to Eid a few weeks later, and while there’s still some acne, the improvement is night and day!
⭐️ Final Rating: A solid 10/10 for Kalon Spa. Between the facial, the mini relaxation massage, and the sweet parting gift, it was exactly what this new mama needed.
