✨ Have you heard of the Miles Circuit? ✨

If you’re in your third trimester and wondering what you can do to help encourage optimal baby positioning, the Miles Circuit is one tool that many birth professionals and pregnant parents use ✨

The circuit consists of 3 simple movements designed to create balance, encourage space in the pelvis, and support baby in finding a favorable position for birth.

Common reasons someone might try the Miles Circuit:

• Baby feels high or unengaged
• Baby’s position is causing discomfort
• Looking for ways to prepare for labor
• Wanting to encourage optimal fetal positioning

While every pregnancy and baby are unique, the Miles Circuit can be a gentle, proactive way to support your body as you approach birth!

Have you tried the Miles Circuit? Let me know which position was your favorite (or least favorite!) in the comments ☀️

Save this post for later, you never know when you’ll want a quick refresher!✨

Birth isn’t remembered only by what happened, it’s remembered by how you were made to feel 💛

You can have the most “perfect” birth on paper and still leave feeling unheard. And you can have a birth that takes unexpected turns, yet still walk away feeling powerful, respected, and deeply supported.

This is one of the biggest reasons why doula support matters so much to me 🫶🏻

Emotional safety, informed choices, and human connection should never be considered extra. They are part of the care you deserve✨

If you voted straws in last week’s poll... you were right!

✨Newest addition to my birth bag: straws!✨

They’re not just for hydration 😉

Breathing through a straw during labour can help slow and lengthen the exhale, reduce jaw tension, and encourage the body to soften instead of brace.

In birth, a softer jaw often supports a more responsive pelvic floor 💛

Tiny tool, big support ✨

So many things in labour can feel surprising, but that doesn’t mean something is wrong! 💛

Often, these are signs that your body is doing EXACTLY what it’s meant to do ✨

Birth, postpartum, all the in-between moments, I’ve got you ✨

Let’s chat about maternal mental health 🤍

Motherhood can be beautiful. It can also be overwhelming, heavy, and lonely at times. Both can exist at once!

If you’re struggling, please know that you are not meant to carry this alone. Support can look like:

• talking to a trusted friend or partner
• leaning on family
• connecting with other moms
• reaching out to your doctor, midwife, or therapist
• seeking support from a doula

There is no “right” way to feel in postpartum, and you deserve care just as much as your baby does 🤍

As a doula, I offer postpartum consultations that create space for you to process, feel supported, and be heard. With my background in social work, I can help you navigate the emotions that come up in this season. I also have my own postpartum mental health experience, which makes me understand on a deeply personal level how this can feel ❤️‍🩹

You don’t have to do this alone 🤍
My DMs are always open if you need some support.

“Your baby is measuring big”

It’s something so many parents hear!

But here’s the thing:
estimating baby’s size in the womb is notoriously inaccurate 😳

In fact, these measurements can be off by a pound (or more!) in either direction 🤯

“Big baby” (or suspected large baby) is one of the common reasons for concern near the end of pregnancy, but it doesn’t always reflect reality! 💛

Bodies are wise. Babies come in all sizes. And your care should always be based on the full picture, not just a number on a screen.

Take a breath, ask questions, and remember: this is just one piece of information, not the whole story 💛
