It has been a privilege to welcome the global pharmacy community to Canada and an opportunity to celebrate and showcase Canadian pharmacy on the global stage. 🍁

As we pass the FIP flag to Malaysia, we wish our colleagues all the best as they prepare to welcome the world to Kuala Lumpur for .

CPhA was pleased to sign the FIP Montreal Declaration on Non-Communicable Diseases and add Canada’s voice to this global call to action at .

The declaration recognizes as essential primary health-care providers and calls for them to be fully enabled to contribute to NCD prevention, treatment and long-term care.

CPhA Chair Deb Saltmarche and FIP President Paul Sinclair co-sign the FIP Montreal Declaration on Non-Communicable Diseases at .

CPhA is proud to support the declaration and its call for stronger integration of pharmacists into primary health care to improve access, equity and outcomes for patients and communities.

The declaration calls for pharmacists to be recognized as essential primary health-care providers and enabled to contribute fully to NCD prevention and care — from screening and early detection to chronic disease management, vaccination, medicines optimization and continuity of care.
