The Canadian Diabetes Association needs volunteers to help at the professional conference coming to Ottawa Oct 26 to the 29th.Please share with patients, friends, family and your colleagues who are not members. Everyone is welcome. No special skills required for greeters, hall security, registration and bag pick up. We have over 130 - 4 hr volunteer time slots to fill still.

You are asked to wear dark slacks/skirt and closed toe shoes upon arrival for your 4 hr shift. Sign in at the volunteer room and pick up your volunteer vest with your assigned duty. On your departure stop by the volunteer room, to drop off your vest and receive $20 for local transportation expenses.

Please email ( [email protected] ) asap with your availability including your preference AM or PM, to confirm your slot. Volunteering at this conference provides a unique opportunity to meet and network with like minded folks. I have members from across Canada stepping up to help!
