Is your young skier ready to take their skiing to the next level? We’re welcoming skiers YOB 2016 and older to join Georgian Bay Nordic for the 2026–27 season.
Our team is for cross country skiers who have learned the fundamentals of both classic and skate skiing through Jackrabbits, a school ski team, or similar experience. We’ll work on technique, fitness, and race skills, while building a supportive team that loves being out on the trails together.

💪🌈 Therabands: It’s Not Just About the Colour!

You may have seen our colourful Therabands and wondered…

🤔 “Does the blue one match my workout outfit?”
😂 “Is the red one for people who are REALLY angry?”
😅 “Does black mean I’m ready for the Olympics?”

Not exactly! The colours generally represent different levels of resistance — from lighter resistance to heavier resistance.

🟡 Yellow – Light resistance
🔴 Red – Medium resistance
🟢 Green – Heavy resistance
🔵 Blue – Extra heavy resistance
⚫ Black – Super heavy resistance

Resistance levels can vary depending on the brand and type of band.
