A message to friends in Grey/Bruce.
Let's face it. Feeding a family is harder today than it was 10, 20 or 30 years ago when we were kids. There was a post flying around on social media this past week how an employee at Sears back in the 90's with a full-time retail job once supported a middle-class lifestyle, including buying homes, raising families, and retiring with pensions. Boy times have changed!
We've had families comment that they've tried to purchase the same items that were in our boxes at their local store and don't know how we are able to deliver their boxes to a convenient pickup spot and STILL provide better value than what they were able to find.
Although multinational companies like Instacart and others are now available in areas of Grey/Bruce that allow you to select the grocery items you want, our little family business is built on relationships Jess Johnstone and her family have had in Ontario since 1993.
We have been doing our best to promote our local partners and still provide value to you, our customers and friends, with the best quality produce at a price and value that you can feel proud to support. Every box is handpicked and curated with some of the best items we can get from our partnerships at the Toronto Food Terminal and beyond.
As we progress through the summer we are inviting any local growers to partner with our food distribution model as we begin to offer more products for people to feel proud to put on their family's table.
If you, or someone you know, is interested in partnering with us I invite you to check out https://tableandkin.ca/supplier-inquiry to learn more about what makes us different. Our partners get clear terms, predictable weekly orders, fair prices paid on time, and first call as we grow our route network across Grey and Bruce.
For everyone else. Our customizable YOUR WAY boxes are now available to purchase. We have local public pickup hubs, deliver to workplaces so staff can take orders home with them without the extra stop and even have community pickup spots where neighbours have opened their doors to family and friends in the neighbourhood.
Table & Kin feeds families across Grey and Bruce Counties with weekly produce and pantry boxes. We are early. We are deliberate. We know the kind of partners we want to build this with. If that might be you, tell us about your operation.
