PrimaCare Community Family Health Team is proud of our reprocessing program and the technicians and aides we have on our team!

Help us celebrate the hard work they provide to keeping our patients safe everyday. Technicians clean, decontaminate, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize reusable surgical instruments and patient care devices. With proper reprocessing, our staff prevents infections and ensures our clinics have safe and sterile tools.

PrimaCare Community Family Health is closed on Monday October 12th to recognize the Thanksgiving Day holiday. We give thanks for the time we have to spend with our loved ones on this day.

We will reopen tomorrow at regular business hours.

World Mental Health Day is October 10th and the campaign this year focuses on:

World Mental Health Day is an opportunity to meaningfully engage with people with lived experience (PWLE) of mental health conditions and to recognize their knowledge as a vital form of expertise. This year’s campaign calls for their voices to shape the policies, services and decisions that affect their lives.

Changing the narrative on su***de takes time as stigma, fear and shame surround this topic making it difficult to discuss openly.

Most people who are struggling with thoughts of su***de do not announce it. If it is mentioned at all, what they share may not directly mention su***de. Instead, they may communicate hopelessness, speak about having a hard time coping, or mention feeling like a burden to others. Behaviour changes matter too, such as visible changes in mood, withdrawal, and more time spent alone.

How you respond when you notice signs like these matters enormously.
