For me, the eagle has always represented freedom, vision, courage, and the strength to rise above life’s challenges. A reminder to trust your instincts, see the bigger picture, and never lose sight of where you’re going.

Really enjoyed bringing this one to life. The scale, movement, and flow with the body made it such a rewarding piece to work on.

Big ideas deserve bold tattoos. 🖤

Four wolves. One family. One bond that goes way beyond blood. 🐺

This custom black and grey wolf family tattoo in Paris, Ontario was designed around the four people who make up his pack.

The large wolf represents him as the father, followed by his wife and their two children, with mountains and forest elements bringing the whole piece together.

Wolves symbolize family, loyalty, protection, instinct, and strength. In this piece, that symbolism becomes personal. Every wolf represents someone real and a connection he gets to carry with him every day.

This is the kind of work I love creating at Ethereal Ink Body Art, turning real stories into meaningful custom tattoos.

[IN PROGRESS session 01/03]

Some pieces aren’t meant to feel comfortable. They’re meant to make you feel something. 💀

Really enjoyed working on this dark black and grey leg tattoo. The hooded reaper, skulls, dead tree, and darker atmosphere all come together around one idea: mortality, transformation, and accepting that every chapter eventually changes.

For me, darker imagery doesn’t always have to mean something negative. Sometimes it’s simply a reminder that time is limited, so make it count.

Definitely one of those pieces that gets better the longer you look at it. 🖤

Some tattoos carry a story that goes way beyond the image. 🐻🚛

This black and grey half sleeve brings together a powerful bear and a transport truck, but the truck is much more than part of the composition. It was included to represent his father and carry that connection with him.

The bear adds strength, protection, and resilience, while the truck makes the piece personal. A reminder of family, memories, and the people who leave a mark on who we become.

Really enjoyed bringing this one together and turning something so personal into a custom piece.

Some tattoos just hit different. 💀🌳

This one was a really cool piece to work on. A crowned skull, a skeleton resting under the tree, birds flying around it, and those two dates that make the whole design personal.

For me, the combination speaks about life, death, time, and transformation. A reminder that everything changes, nothing stays forever, and there’s something beautiful about being present for the time we have.

Dark, meaningful, and definitely a piece with a story behind it.

Beauty, mortality, and the reflection of who we become. 🖤💀

This custom black and grey leg tattoo combines a detailed skull, a vintage mirror, portraiture, and ornamental elements into one dark, surreal composition.

The mirror adds another layer to the piece: a reminder that we’re constantly confronted with both who we are and what we’re becoming. A little beauty, a little darkness, and a whole lot of symbolism.

Some tattoos are meant to be understood. Others are meant to make you stop and look twice.

Leg sleeve in progress — Session 03. 🖤

When tattooing becomes art, there are no rules about where the lines have to go.

This custom black and grey leg sleeve in progress, blends feminine side, life story inspired elements, bold brushwork, and abstract composition into one flowing piece. The contrast between softness and darker elements creates a balance between beauty, strength, transformation, and the different sides we carry within us.

Still in progress, but the story is starting to take shape.

One tattoo. Two homes. One story. 🏴🍁

Session 02 of this Scottish heritage sleeve, bringing together the symbols that connect two chapters of his life: the Scottish flag, thistle flowers, map of Scotland, Scottish lion, compass, maple leaves, and custom filigree.

Part of the sleeve is fresh and part is already healed, giving you a look at how the piece comes together as it settles into the skin.

The Scottish elements honour his roots, while the maple leaves represent the life he has built here in Canada. The compass ties it all together: wherever life takes you, you carry your roots with you.

Heritage, identity, belonging, and the journey between two homes.

Some leg sleeves aren’t just collections of tattoos. They’re a journey. 🖤

This custom leg project keeps growing. In this session, we added Medusa emerging through shattered glass, while Lilith, now fully healed, continues to anchor the piece.

Beyond mythology, Lilith represents sovereignty, intuition, and owning your authentic self. Medusa reminds us that what others see as a curse can become a source of strength, resilience, and transformation. Together, they tell a story of embracing every chapter that shaped you.

Every session adds another layer to the story.

Not every skull represents death. Some represent the life you’ve survived. 💀

This custom skull knee tattoo is a reminder that every ending creates space for a new beginning. Across cultures, the skull symbolizes resilience, transformation, and the wisdom that comes from embracing change instead of fearing it.

Designed to fit the anatomy of the knee, this piece is bold, timeless, and built to tell a story.
