What if I told you there’s medicine growing all around us? 🌿
Recently, I was invited to speak to a local Indigenous community about plant medicine and some of the incredible medicinal plants growing right here in Saskatchewan. I loved the experience so much that it got me thinking…Why not share this information with even more people?
So we’re going for a walk! 🌲
Join me for a Plant Medicine Walk through beautiful Moose Mountain Provincial Park (Kenosee), where we’ll identify medicinal plants growing right in our own backyard and talk about:
🌿 How to identify them
🌿 How they’ve been used as medicine
🌿 What we know about their uses today
🌿 How plants can actually be prepared and turned into herbal medicine
🌿 Safe and responsible use
🌿 And plenty of time for questions along the way!
You’ll also receive educational handouts to take home, so there’s no pressure to remember everything we talk about.
And really, this event is about more than plants.
It’s a chance to get outside, move your body, connect with nature, meet some like-minded people and rediscover knowledge about the plants around us that has been passed down through generations.
