THE EMOTIONAL BIRTH OF THE YEAR ✨CANCER SUPERMOON INSIDE THE 1:1:1 → 1:11:1 GATEWAY ✨ JANUARY 3, 2026

Dear friends, today’s Full Super Moon rises like a tide pulling on the deepest chambers of the heart. As the first full moon of the year, and a Cancer moon no less, it arrives saturated with memory, emotion, and ancestral feeling. Cancer rules the inner waters—home, belonging, safety—and under a supermoon, these themes swell beyond the personal. This moon does not whisper; it pulls. It draws old emotional imprints to the surface so they can be felt, acknowledged, and finally released. Many will sense this as tenderness, nostalgia, or a sudden awareness of what no longer feels like home within them.

What amplifies this lunation is its placement within the 1:1:1 to 1:11:1 energy corridor—a rare eleven-day initiation where the frequency of “one” repeats and compounds. One is origin, self, and truth. When held across eleven days, it becomes a corridor of emotional reorientation. This is not about manifesting outwardly yet; it is about recalibrating the emotional field so the self that steps forward is coherent and whole. The full moon acts as the emotional peak of this corridor, illuminating what must be cleared so the new identity can stabilize.

Emotionally, these eleven days behave like a cleansing wave. Feelings that were previously muted or compartmentalized may surface unexpectedly—grief without a clear story, longing without a clear object, or relief that arrives after tears. This is the emotional body reorganizing itself. Cancer energy asks us to feel without analysis, to allow emotion to move like water rather than be trapped by meaning. The clearing is gentle but thorough, working layer by layer through emotional memory stored not just in the mind, but in the tissues and nervous system.

Energetically, the chakras most activated and cleared during this moon are the root, sacral, and heart. The root chakra releases old survival patterns tied to family, lineage, and early emotional conditioning. The sacral chakra clears outdated emotional attachments, especially those connected to intimacy, dependency, and creative expression. The heart chakra undergoes a deep recalibration—softening defenses that once protected but now limit connection. This is not a surface-level clearing; it is cellular and somatic, often felt as fatigue, pressure in the chest, or waves of emotion without obvious cause.

As the corridor continues toward 1:11:1, the solar plexus subtly comes online—not to push or act, but to reassert authentic selfhood. After the emotional waters are purified, personal power begins to reorganize itself from a place of emotional truth rather than control. This is why decisions may feel premature right now. The system is still syncing. The body and emotional field are being taught a new baseline of safety, one that does not rely on old emotional contracts or inherited roles.

For those of you feeling extra emotionally open under this Cancer Moon, gentle energetic shielding can help you stay present without absorbing what isn’t yours. You can explore my new Bioenergetic Shielding activations here:

By the time the corridor closes, many will feel quieter but clearer. Not energized in a loud way, but grounded in a way that feels real. The January 3 Cancer supermoon marks the emotional birth canal of the year—a moment where we release who we were emotionally trained to be and make space for who we are becoming. What emerges after this is not a reaction, but a response. Not a defense, but a direction. And from this emotional coherence, the rest of the year can finally begin. Have an amazing day, much love 💖

𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐖𝐨𝐥𝐟 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐧

The first Full Moon of 2026 arrives with a deeply emotional and introspective tone, setting the energetic foundation for the year ahead. It's the first of three supermoons in 2026,

The 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐧 occurs on 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, reaching peak illumination at 𝟏𝟎:𝟎𝟐 𝐔𝐓𝐂, which translates to 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐱𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝟓:𝟎𝟐 𝐚.𝐦. 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞. As the first full lunation of the calendar year, it carries added weight. This moon often acts as an emotional checkpoint, revealing what still lingers from the past and what must be acknowledged or released before moving forward.

Astrologically, this Full Moon takes place in the water sign of Cancer, at approximately 13 degrees. Cancer is ruled by the Moon itself, making this lunation especially potent. When the Moon is at home in its own sign, emotions rise closer to the surface, intuition sharpens, and the pull toward memory, safety, and emotional truth becomes impossible to ignore.

Traditionally known as the Wolf Moon, the January Full Moon has long been associated with endurance, instinct, and survival through the heart of winter. Wolves symbolize loyalty, protection, and the wisdom of listening inward when the world feels harsh or uncertain. This imagery mirrors Cancer’s energy, which teaches that vulnerability is not weakness but a form of quiet strength.

With the Moon in Cancer opposing the Sun in Capricorn, this Full Moon highlights the balance between inner emotional needs and outer responsibilities. Capricorn focuses on structure, work, long-term goals, and resilience, while Cancer asks for rest, nourishment, and emotional honesty. Under this lunation, many people may feel stretched between what they are expected to do and what they truly need to feel safe and whole.

Emotionally, this Full Moon can bring old memories, family themes, ancestral patterns, or unresolved feelings to the surface. This is not a moon for suppression. Cancer energy asks you to feel first and analyze later. Gentle release, emotional boundaries, and self-compassion are key.

Although we’re moving into the creative intensity of a Fire Horse year, for those in the Northern Hemisphere this is an active pulse at odds with our natural instinct to slow down, turn inward and withdraw into winter.
Soul in its winter phase often takes on a leaden heaviness that compels us toward depth, where we enter secret alliances with Nature that invite us to be still, quiet, and hibernate in warm safety. Within this internal sanctuary our energies are free to rearrange, restore their faded vitality, gather themselves together, and reorient around embryonic new centres of love and creativity.
Wintering soul like a dormant bulb draws comfort and companionship from this ability to nurture itself, sustained by inner wells and stored nourishment, and surrendered to Nature’s seasonal rhythm. Allow yourself the gift of this regenerating pause.
And when like a germinating seed you sense that it’s time to emerge from your winter cocoon, Fire Horse will await you, ready to breathe into you the warmth of Spring’s new beginnings.
