The Lapis Touch

Apparently, finding time for yourself is harder than it sounds.. 🤔

And no, scrolling through your phone doesn’t always count as relaxing. 👀

Be honest… which answer are you? 😂

I have routines. I also know when to leave them.

Sometimes I follow a familiar flow almost exactly—especially when it’s one a returning client already knows and enjoys.

Other times, I begin with a general structure and let my intuition take over.

That doesn’t mean randomly making things up as I go. It comes from nine years of paying attention to how someone responds and recognizing when something needs more or less time.

You can tell me anything you want me to know before we begin. After that, you don’t have to direct every part of the hour. You can settle in and let me do my job.

Personalized doesn’t mean every session has to be different. It means I don’t force every session to be the same.

Comment SLOW and I’ll send you my short quiz to help you choose a session.

The goal is to give you the session that makes sense that day.

There’s a spot on my client form for what you do for work. You can fill it in or leave it blank. I genuinely don’t mind either way.

Years ago, I watched two people come in for the same service, the same length and the same price, and they did not get the same hour.

One received the warmer, more attentive version. The other received fine. Perfectly fine.

I could see the difference.

I was young and didn’t say anything, but I’ve remembered it ever since. Both paid the same price. Both deserved the same hour.

Tell me what you do if you want to. Leave it blank if you don’t. It won’t change how your session goes.

If you’d like help choosing a session, comment SLOW and I’ll send you my short quiz.

Your job title doesn’t change how you’re treated here.

This is your time to switch off for a while.

Come as you are. I’ll take care of the rest. ❤️

If you want to talk, talk. Some people process out loud, some are nervous the first time, and I’m never
going to shut anybody down.

But a lot of the talking isn’t wanting.
It’s filling. There’s a quiet that shows up about ten minutes in and people rush to cover it. They ask about my week. They apologize for the state of their feet. And then I lose them, because they’re hosting, which is the same mode they’re in all day.

You’re allowed to not do that here. Nobody’s uncomfortable. There’s music on. I’m completely fine.

The quiet is where it happens. Most people don’t get it anywhere else in their week.

One room in Penticton since 2015. Comment FLOW to see which session suits you best.

You can usually tell how an hour will feel before the hands-on part even begins.

It’s whether the room feels hurried or settled. Whether you know what happens next. Whether you’re given a minute to arrive before you’re expected to switch off.

The warm lighting and quiet matter, but it isn’t only about how the room looks. It’s also the pace of the beginning.

If you’re looking for that kind of experience, comment QUIZ and I’ll send you my short quiz to help you figure out which session suits you.

I welcome one person at a time, and I like keeping it that way.

Three words, and I can count on one hand how many people say them right away.

I trust you.
Usually followed by, do whatever you think I need.
And when I hear it the hour opens up.

The rest of the time people give me instructions and keep managing it the whole way through.
Fifteen minutes here.
Don’t bother with that. More pressure on this side.

Which means they’re working. For an
hour. In the one place they came to not work.

I get it. If you’ve had hours that didn’t go well, you learned to drive.
That’s not a flaw, that’s experience.

It usually takes two or three visits before somebody hands it over, and you can feel the exact session when
they do. Comment SLOW for the short quiz & see which session suits you.

Reviews like this honestly make me so happy. ❤️

I put a lot of care into The Lapis Touch, so hearing that someone felt comfortable, relaxed, and cared for during their time with me means so much.

Thank you so much Shannon for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. I’m so happy you enjoyed your massage, and I can’t wait to have you back! 😁
