Meet Shannon B. - Movement & Meditation Guide and Workshop Facilitator.

Shannon’s work is rooted in authenticity, self-expression, and the belief that healing doesn’t have to be quiet. As someone who is neurodivergent herself, she is deeply passionate about creating spaces where people feel seen, accepted, and supported exactly as they are.

Guided by her motto, “Heal Out Loud,” Shannon helps individuals move through feelings of unworthiness and reconnect with themselves through movement, breath, and mindfulness. Her approach blends yoga, meditation, and emotional support in a way that feels accessible, inclusive, and truly transformative.

Shannon loves supporting clients with:
• Building self-acceptance and confidence
• Nervous system regulation through movement and breath
• Emotional expression and release
• Creating a life that feels aligned and supportive

Through her offerings, Shannon creates safe, welcoming spaces for people to explore, soften, and grow - both individually and in community.

Her current offerings include:
• Energy Work Sessions (3 x 60-minute sessions per month)
• Hosting bi-monthly Community New Moon Circles (including the upcoming circle this Friday, April 17th from 6:30pm-8:00pm) 🌟👀

Clients often describe Shannon’s presence as open, empowering, and deeply accepting, and her spaces as ones where they feel free to be fully themselves. 🌹

Outside of her work, Shannon continues to explore movement, mindfulness, and personal growth - bringing that same curiosity and compassion into every space she holds. 💛

We’re so grateful to have Shannon’s honesty, heart, and energy as part of the Flourishing Families community. 💖

✨ If you’ve joined Shannon for a class, circle, or session, we’d love to hear about your experience in the comments!

Eating “clean", working out… and still gaining weight or not feeling like yourself?

It might not just be “aging".

This pattern is incredibly common - especially for women who feel like they’re doing everything right, yet still feel tired, foggy, puffy, cold, or off.

Often, the missing piece isn’t more effort or willpower.
It’s what’s happening internally - with your stress response, mineral balance, and thyroid function.

When the body is under ongoing stress, cortisol rises. Over time, this can:
• slow metabolism
• make weight loss feel impossible
• increase fatigue and brain fog
• disrupt sleep and hormones
• shift key minerals like sodium, potassium, and magnesium

These minerals play a huge role in energy production, blood sugar regulation, adrenal function, and nervous system balance. When they fall out of balance, the body can shift into survival mode instead of thriving.

For some women, symptoms like fatigue, thinning hair, feeling cold, and difficulty losing weight may also point toward sluggish thyroid function - even when labs come back “normal.” Blood work may show hormone production… but not always how well your cells are actually using it.

This is where Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) can be incredibly helpful.

HTMA looks at your mineral patterns over time, helping us understand how your body is handling stress and where imbalances may be affecting your metabolism, energy, and overall function.

Because you deserve answers that go deeper than “it’s just aging".

You deserve to feel like yourself again. ✨
