Seeing as the Liberals snuck restrictive natural health product legislation into their last 2 budgets so the public wouldn't notice - I am not surprised that with their slimy sneaky majority, that they killed the Bill C-224 on Oct 7 that would have insisted that plants not be treated as drugs.

After all, the Liberal feds want the public using only pharma, shooting up as many injections as they can ram into you (even by force) and using sh*tty OTC commercially manufactured medications.

They want all natural health options shutdown, hard to get and made invisible to the public.

Natural health options interfere with the Liberal federal HC run monoply that draws in a minimum of $392.1 million annually & HC also receives about $8.67 billion annually, funded directly by the federal government.

They do not want the general population using free will. The right to choose ancestral cultural plant medicine.

Herbalism is NOT just an 'Indigenous" cultural activity or ancestral healing method. Much of the plant medicine now growing wildly all over Ontario was brought here as plant roots, slips & seeds from England & Europe so families had access to their generational plant medicine available to them in their kitchen gardens they planted out the back door.

Herbal medicine is ALSO our culture / our history.

Herbalism - plant medicine has been practiced in European countries for at least 1200 documented years.

It is our culture, our right, our ancestral wisdom to utilize and benefit from.

No one culture 'owns' Herbalism.
IT IS EVERY Human's culture.

All the way back to Mesopotamia & the Sumerians.
The cradles of civilization.

Only in North America has the public been so nefariously brainwashed of their very own healing culture.

My own herbalism interest was planted, handed down to me by my Grandmother. I learned to walk in her herb/veg garden. I was exposed to the old world ways of plant remedy practices. She learned from her family in England & instilled herbal medicine use in me.

Passed down generationally.

A repost as I am often asked why I became a Herbalist.
The back story started even earlier than the arrival in our lives of a special needs child in 1989 who needed plant medicine.
I was raised in my grandmother's garden, she practiced old world plant medicine as she learned it in her family in England ~ she practiced the old world ways of herbalism & remedies in her kitchen, she grew herbs and vegetables, it was my realm from infancy. My grandmother's gift to me was her love & planting in me the wonder of herbal remedies. It was destiny.

Fast forward to 2026
All is well.
I'm grateful for my circle of family, my 4 kids now adults who are ALL alert independent thinkers who practice plant remedy wisdom in their adult lives regularly. My partner in life Mark - I've said time + time again to him - I'm not coming back unless I come back with him..♡
