She chose to sit right next to me 🫠🫠🫠

There were pieces of my teenage years that shaped me in ways I didn’t understand until much later.

Years without my mom by my side.
Hard financial seasons.
Times when I felt unworthy.
I learned to cope with life in both healthy and unhealthy ways.

And I don’t share from a place of blame or anger. I’m incredibly grateful for where life has brought me.

My parents are my biggest supporters.
Becoming a step-mom & mom made me realize I can change the story. For me. And for them.

Building a business rooted in wellness has taught me so much.

I get to build something alongside my children. They get to watch me take risks, work hard, fail, begin again, create something from nothing, and become more of myself.

I get to give my daughter something I deeply needed when I was her age.

Maybe that’s one of the most beautiful parts of healing.

Taking what you didn’t receive and choosing to create it for the next generation.

I’m 43.

I had never travelled to Europe. Never been to Scandinavia. And three years ago, I opened a business on my 40th birthday.

I became a yoga teacher because I was afraid of losing myself in motherhood.

I realized I was becoming so many things for everyone else.

Yoga gave me somewhere to go where I didn’t have to be anything for anyone. I could just breathe, move, think, feel and remember that I was a person outside of all my roles.

And then somehow, here I am. Standing in Sweden.

It’s a reminder that your life can change so much faster than you think.

Your circumstances can change.
Your confidence can change.
Your opportunities can change.
And you can change.

You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to keep moving toward the life you want. Keep making space for the life you want to live.
