With a budget of over 10 million dollars and a staff complement of 250 people, we are one of the larger employers in rural Lambton. LCDS takes seriously its stewardship of public funds and has worked hard to expand services and streamline operations. This summer, Brian, who lives in Forest and is supported by LCDS, set off on an amazing adventure to one of Ontario's favourite summer destinations, Grand Bend!

From relaxing on the beautiful beach and taking in the views at the iconic Grand Bend Lighthouse to enjoying a cold beer and grabbing a coffee while exploring town, Brian made the most of a sunny summer day. 😎

This morning was all about celebrating Tim on his special day! 🎈🎁

Tim enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration at his home in Corunna, complete with delicious birthday pancakes, colourful streamers, and birthday hats!

Vicky and LCDS staff member Dana shared in the celebrations and helping make Tim's birthday a special one. 💜💚

🍋 What a Sweet Day of Community Giving!

LCDS and our Social Enterprises, The Olde Post Office and Petrolia Enterprises, were proud to take part in this year's BIG Squeeze in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sarnia-Lambton.

Thanks to the amazing support of our community and volunteers, we raised more than $400 and were honoured to receive the Most Creative Lemonade Stand Award! 🏆🍋 Together as a community, 87 organizations across Sarnia-Lambton raised $56,216.73 for our local Big Brothers & Big Sisters.

A special thank you to everyone who helped build, staff, support, and visit our stand. Your generosity helps strengthen our community and supports opportunities for local youth through Big Brothers Big Sisters.

⚾ Hats Off to a Stellar 2026 Blacktop Baseball Season! ⚾
Yesterday, many familiar faces to LCDS celebrated another amazing season of Blacktop Baseball.

Coordinated by the Town of Petrolia, this volunteer-driven program has brought people of all abilities together through sport, friendship, and inclusion.

We hope everyone had fun this season!

A huge thank you to the Town of Petrolia, Ontario for championing inclusion and providing a welcoming space for everyone in our community, and to the Lambton College Athletics Baseball Team for joining in the fun yesterday!
