My Home.

My Country.

There is something ancient here. 🌿

The forests whisper. The waters remember. The roots and stones hold lifetimes of stories, far beyond our own.

Today, I give thanks for the land that supports us, the creatures who share it with us, the communities and people that helped it thrive and pushed it into becoming the Country we know and love today.

May we honour the Earth on which we stand and care for what we’ve been entrusted with. Continuing to leave it a little better than we found it.

From the forests we wander, the gardens we tend, and the wild places that continue to teach us —

I am so grateful for this beautiful corner of the 'North' and all the wisdom it shares. 🌲✨

The light is at its fullest. ☀️

The Summer Solstice reminds us to pause and witness what has grown.

The seeds we planted. The roots we strengthened. The moments we almost missed while rushing toward the next thing.

Today, we celebrate abundance, connection, and the beautiful rhythm all around us. 🌿

May we slow down enough to notice the magic within, and without ✨️

Living the Dream ✨️
One Raspberry Bush.
One Egg.
One Day at a Time.

A wild raspberry patch has its own kind of magic… but a little intentional care helps the whole ecosystem thrive. ✨

🌱 Better airflow
A dense patch can trap moisture, creating the perfect conditions for mould and fungal diseases
(Which I witnessed today!)

🐝 Supporting pollinators
Healthy, open raspberry plants make it easier for bees and other pollinators to access blooms.

Which creates a better harvest! 🍓

🌿 Work with the plant, not against it! Encourage - Not Control!
By removing and thinning what has finished its purpose creates space for new growth and abundance!

A little pruning now means a healthier patch, happier pollinators, and a sweeter harvest later.

Sometimes tending the land is simply listening closely enough to know what needs a little help. 💚
