Today started with an email from a patient who was worried about their health. It took me less than 30 seconds to decide to head into the clinic, open the doors, and help.

Then I received a review like this, and it reminded me exactly why I left a comfortable corporate job to build something different.

Moments like these make the long hours, sacrifices, and uncertainty worth it. They remind me that putting patients first isn't just something we say, it's how we choose to practice every day.

I can't promise that I'll always be able to leave everything behind (especially when it means leaving my child at home), but whenever we're able to, we will. Because sometimes being there for someone when they need you most can make all the difference. ❤️

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our team.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, is fluent in English, and feels comfortable working in a busy clinic setting. Experience with Oscar EMR is an asset, but we are happy to train the right person.

A candidate who can take initiative and helps keep the clinic running smoothly would be a great fit.

HealRx Medical Clinic and Pharmacy is excited to announce a few new services that we think our community should know about:

• Nitrogen therapy for warts, plantar warts etc

• HIV PrEP & PEP services

• Veterinary medications for your beloved furry family members

• Specialty compounding services

We’re especially excited to now offer veterinary medications. With the rising costs of pet care, we wanted to create a more affordable and accessible option for families. Many medications used in animals are very similar to human medications, yet are often priced significantly higher. We believe pet owners deserve better options - and we’re here to help.

As always, if you ever have questions or need support, please stop by and see us. It would truly be our honour to care for you and your family - including the four-legged ones 🐾

Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it this Sunday morning.

In a world that can feel heavy sometimes, this week reminded me just how many genuinely kind, good people are out there.

I had several people reach out to switch to our pharmacy—sharing that they were tired of feeling like “just a number” and looking for something more personal. The trust they placed in me, without even having met me yet, honestly meant everything. It’s something I don’t take lightly, and I’ll always do my best to take care of every single person who walks through our doors.

And then, a woman I had never met before stopped by with the most beautiful flowers, just to say thank you for helping her husband when he came in as a walk-in. Moments like that stay with you.

This is why we do what we do.

I don’t take any of it for granted. Not the trust, not the kindness, not the opportunity to be part of your care.

Let’s all try to do one small, kind thing for someone today. It goes further than you think 🤍
