The weather is co-operating nicely, the Simcoe Lions Club Community Chicken BBQ is a go this afternoon from 4-7 pm. There are still a few tickets available, it's a great deal, 20$ for a half chicken, baked potato, coleslaw and a bun. Children's meals for 12$. There will be a drive-thru option for anyone with mobility issues, you get a great meal delivered right to your vehicle and you help support the many projects the Lion's fund to help make our community thrive.

It's Strawberry season in Norfolk County!

Forget those fast-food drive-thru's, if you want fresh healthy food then you have to head down to Judd's Farm Strawberry Drive-thru on Decou Rd. in Simcoe. Today is opening day and the variety is Jewel.

Pick-your own is available but the drive-thru is perfect for older folks and anyone with health issues, or if your just in a hurry to get home and have some Berries and Cream!

Antonia was out in her yard enjoying the sunshine and preparing her garden for spring planting. Truly a remarkable woman, filled with good humour and vitality.
