When We Don’t Feel Stable, We Brace ⤵️
Think about walking across an icy parking lot.
Without even thinking about it, your body changes.
Your steps get shorter.
Your shoulders tighten.
Your abdomen braces.
You move a little more carefully.
That’s your body trying to create stability.
Usually, once the moment passes, everything relaxes again.
➡️ But after an injury, a fall, or a period of discomfort, sometimes that protective tension sticks around longer than we realize.
Massage therapy and osteopathy can help address those areas of tension while considering the larger pattern that may be contributing to them.
