Over the years I have been asked frequently which First Aid kit I would recommend for Farm use.
While there are many great first aid kits I always felt like adding something, so I put together a kit for around our place that I am truly happy with.

This kit includes a basic first aid kit, as well as:
* tourniquet
* burn dressings for small and bigger burns
* normal saline
* glucose tabs
*electrolyte powder
*wet wipes/hand sanitizer
* extra: abdominal pads, gauze, gloves, soaker pads, bandaids, cling wrap, cold packs, tape

I packed it all into a sturdy toolbox that is small enough to fit in a tractor cab, yet rugged enought to be tossed around, it's mouse proof, and can be wiped down and stored at the end of the season.
It has easy access compartment in the lid with essentials like alcohol swabs and extra bandaids as well as a divider that doubles as a hard surface to lay your supplies out on.

It's a good day for a first aid course!

Everytime I offer a youth course I remember what a Joy it is to teach the next Generation about safety❤️

Also THANK YOU! to the Preeceville Fire Department for coming out again and teaching the kids all about Fire safety!

Out with the old- in with the new!
It is important to check your AEDs batteries and Pads on a monthly basis to make sure it is always ready to go.
It just so happened to be Emergency Preparedness week when my AED let me know it was time for new battery! Very fitting!

Tonight I presented on internet safety and online sexual exploitation.
The infomation was geared towards 12-15 year old youth.
As a mother of 4, I believe that this topic can't be covered enough.
