What should you do after you eat a meal? Take a good 15 minute walk (ideally with your dog!) and up the pace to get your digestive system moving! This speeds up your metabolism and helps you digest food faster, while also burning more calories!

How long should you be walking your dog everyday?
1) for small breeds like chihuahuas-up to half an hour
2) for higher energy breeds and bigger dogs like labs, bulldogs etc. 1-1.25 hours
3) for higher energy dogs like collies, greyhounds, herding dogs-1.25-1.5 hours
A good walk with your dog is also a good way to get those steps in, enjoy your day, and have fun!
