On Thursday, July 23, North ABI Services had the opportunity to attend Kidzfest in Prince Albert, and what an amazing turnout it was!

One of the highlights of the day was watching the egg drop demonstration, which showed just how important it is to wear a helmet and protect your brain. It was a fun and memorable way to share such an important safety message with children and families.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to learn, participate, and say hello. We always enjoy connecting with our communities and promoting brain injury prevention.

P.S. A special thank you to the kind person who surprised us with a giant lemonade to help us cool off on such a hot day—it was very much appreciated! ☀️🍋😊

Sask Central ABI Education & Prevention was at Makwa Lake & Battlefords provincial parks for their Safety Day events last week chatting with campers about the importance of wearing bike helmets on pedal bikes, e-bikes & e-scooters 🚴 🛴🧠

The weather event at Battlefords Provincial Park sent us scurrying for cover, but a little rain will never 🌧dampen🌧 our enthusiasm for injury prevention!

🚴‍♀️🧠 Yesterday, the Sask North team had a fantastic time at Turnor Lake Treaty Day!

We were proud to set up some of our Bike Rodeo stations, where community members had the opportunity to practice bike safety skills while learning about the importance of helmet safety and protecting our brains. It was great to see so many participants stop by, learn, and have fun throughout the day.

🐶🎯 We even had a special four-legged visitor who seemed eager to try their paw at our plinko game!

DESTINATION: Brain Injury Prevention Education! 🚗🧠😃

From MEADOW LAKE to MOOSOMIN, the ABI Education & Prevention health educators were out clocking the kilometers this spring, bringing programming & brain injury prevention information to people in 31 cities, towns & First Nations communities across Saskatchewan.
