💬 May is the Month of Hearing and Communication, and we want to bring awareness about aphasia, a communication difficulty that often appears after a stroke. Did you know that speech therapy can help adults with aphasia?

Here's how you can support someone in your community living with aphasia:

🔸 Get their attention before talking
⏳ Give them more time to answer
🔊 Keep your voice at a normal level
🗣️ Slow down your speech a little
🔸 Avoid finishing their sentences
📝 Suggest that they write things down or show you a picture
