The last thing you want to worry about while travelling is running out of your prescriptions.

Before you pack your suitcase, make sure you have enough medication to cover your entire trip!

✔️ Check your medication supply
✔️ Request refills early, we ask for at least 2 weeks prior to your departure date.
✔️ Make sure all prescriptions are up to date

Summer fun is best when you’re well hydrated! As temperatures climb, your body loses more fluids through sweat, increasing your risk of dehydration.

💧 Watch for signs like:
• Thirst
• Headache
• Fatigue
• Dizziness
• Dark-coloured urine

Hydration is especially important for:
👶 Young children
👵 Older adults
💊 People taking certain medications
🚴 Anyone spending time outdoors

Quick hydration tips:
✅ Drink water regularly—even before you feel thirsty.
✅ Carry a reusable water bottle wherever you go.
✅ Limit alcohol and excess caffeine when you’re in the heat.
✅ Eat water-rich foods like watermelon, cucumbers, oranges, and berries.

Some medications can also increase your risk of dehydration or make you more sensitive to the sun. If you’re unsure whether yours do, stop in and ask our pharmacy team—we’re always happy to help! 😊
