ain't no party like a coverup party because a coverup party is sooo satisfying. Transforming old tattoos that no longer serve into something new and meaningful is nothing short of magic every single time, I'm just grateful to be invited along for the ride. Thank you Lily 💜
Image IDs: Slide 1 is the freshly completed coverup tattoo, modeled after the pink, fuschia and purple sweetpea flowers from my client's garden. The tattoo is of 3 sweetpea blooms, located on the top/inner plane of the left forearm. The tattoo measures approximately 4 inches and was completed in a little over 3 hours over 2 sessions. Slide 2 is the same tattoo after our first session in September, Slide 3 is a shot of my preliminary drawing in which the old tattoo is visible. Lily's skin is white.

still and always obsessed with this octopus my pal let me create for her back in July. Let me put an octopus on you, we can hang out and listen to Ween (the deep cuts, obv). Drawn with the power of Actual Imagination, the only acceptable generative AI there is or will ever be (if genAI has no haters i am dead!!) thanks for always bein the coolest .

from December. based on the client's own drawing for their first tattoo. thank you Jude, I always love tattooing pansies.
February is booking up quick. Grateful as always to be busy doing the best job in the world, even as this specific social media platform grows more sinister. the idea of rebuilding elsewhere is exhausting and more than a little daunting, but the trajectory of evil is abundantly clear. this place hasn't been safe for queer/disabled/non-white folk in a hot minute. divesting and diversifying is the only viable way forward.
I'm still here for now, albeit less and less. you can find me (fionatattoos) over on the blue place, but my mailing list is still my predominant way of communicating last minute appointments, new flash, and flat-rate pricing on wanna-do projects. links in bio.
the future is uncertain, but the 'tistic pattern recognition is yet to be wrong. it has its own challenges but rarely any surprises. the way out is through. I don't yet know what that looks like, but I hope to see you there.

5 months healed + itty bitty fresh touchups on a true gem. Thank you 💖 I *always* want to tattoo fruit (with special appreciation for unripe/ripening berries).
I am taking holidays from December 7 - 17 and will have limited internet connection (I am honestly hoping to barely look at my phone at all during this time). I'm booking new projects into 2025 (link in bio) and already cannot wait to get back into tattooing refreshed after some much needed time unplugged.
