Happy Earth Day 🌿

At Healthy Roots, everything we do comes back to connection. Connection to our bodies, our minds, and the world around us. The same way we care for ourselves is the same way we should care for the earth we live on.

Whether it is taking a walk outside, choosing to slow down, supporting local, or simply being more mindful of what we consume, small choices add up. Healing does not just happen inside our clinic walls. It happens in nature, in fresh air, in moments of stillness.

Most people assume their biggest financial decisions happen when they buy a house, choose investments, or negotiate a salary.

But the choices that shape your financial future usually happen long before any of that.

They show up in the people you build your life with.
In the way you treat your body and your health.
In what you do with your time when no one is watching.
And in the people whose thinking, habits, and standards you absorb and take on without realizing it.

These decisions compound quietly.

The wrong relationship can cost years of energy and opportunity.
Neglecting your physical and mental health eventually takes a financial toll.
Spending your time around people who normalize poor habits or attitudes will slowly shape and erode your own.

We tend to think wealth is only about money or built through strategy and discipline alone.

So grateful to have been invited to speak with the students at the (Regina Work Preparation Centre)!

Thank you for welcoming me in and for the opportunity to connect with such an incredible group of young people. The conversations, the questions, and the energy in the room were so inspiring.

It means so much to be able to share not only what we do at Healthy Roots Wellness Centre, but also a bit of my journey, the goals, the hard work, and everything it takes behind the scenes to build something from the ground up.

If even one student walked away feeling a little more confident in their path or inspired to go after what they want, then it was all worth it.
