Regina Multicultural Council

Regina Multicultural Council RMC will be the champion and recognized leader in the Growth, Development, Support and Education, in the promotion and celebration of cultural diversity.

RMC serves to support and encourage our members in their activities and initiatives as well as our own. Just as our organization has seen much growth in its years, our programs continue to make strides in the community in enabling culture to be a forefront of our city and in providing opportunity for the residents of Regina to learn and be engaged in multicultural activity and programs. Special ev

ents which have created great visibility for the RMC have included Multicultural Day in the month of June celebrated at Wascana Park, Grey Cup Ceremonies (2003&2013), Centennial Celebrations (2005), the Saskatchewan International Tattoo (2008), the Olympic Torch Run (2010), partnering with the Saskatchewan African Heritage Museum in the Honouring Tree Project (2011) and The Regina Pats and Regina Multicultural Council Present Multicultural Night at the Brandt Centre. The RMC remains dedicated to our core programming which help to strengthen our role in our community. Our Youth and Education initiatives include the Youth Ambassador Program and the Continuing Education Scholarship. The Continuing Education Scholarship encourages the recognition of youth pursuant of secondary education in partnering with their involvement in the community. The RMC also participates in the Cathedral Village Arts Festival, Canada Western Agribition and the World Class Players World Cup Soccer Tournament.

The India Pavilion is a vibrant, highly anticipated cultural hub featured during Regina's annual Mosaic - Festival of Cultures. Hosted by the India Canada Association of Saskatchewan (ICA), it celebrates South Asian heritage with traditional cuisine, live entertainment, and cultural displays.

Food & Treats: Visitors can enjoy a variety of authentic dishes and popular sweets, including favorites like mango ice cream and cotton candy.

Entertainment: The pavilion features high-energy, colorful cultural performances, including traditional and contemporary Indian dances.

Cultural Connection: Local ambassadors represent the pavilion, serving to foster cultural understanding and providing a way for immigrants and the broader community to connect with Indian heritage.

Hispanic Pavilion is an annual cultural venue featured during Mosaic – A Festival of Cultures, which is Regina’s longest-running multicultural festival. It is organized by local community groups to showcase and celebrate the heritage of Central and South America through food, dance,music and art.

1. Hispanos Pavilion
Hosting Organization: Organized by Hispanos en Regina - Community Services Incorporated.

Location: Hosted at the REAL District inside the Queensbury Convention Centre (Meeting Rooms 1, 2, & 3) at 1700 Elphinstone Street.

The Vibe: Features a lively atmosphere—often tying in major theme elements like football/World Cup culture—alongside authentic food, drinks, and traditional costume showcases.

The Philippine Pavilion is a vibrant cultural showcase hosted annually in Regina as part of Mosaic - A Festival of Cultures.Organized and operated entirely by volunteers from the Philippine Association of Saskatchewan Regina Corp., it highlights the rich heritage, traditions, and hospitality of the local Filipino diaspora.
