We are absolutely thrilled to welcome the incredibly talented Jillian to Birch & Lace for the last week of October! 🗓️

Jill brings over 20+ years of behind-the-chair experience. She started her hair journey on Vancouver Island before moving to the mainland, where she has spent the last five years running her own beautiful space, Hanako Micro Salon, in downtown Abbotsford.

If you are looking for your dream blonde or a gorgeous new shape, Jill is your girl!

Her Specialties: Master blonding (she swears foiling is therapy! 💇‍♀️), textured cuts, long layers, and razor cutting.

She’s excited to make some hair magic, meet new faces, and have a creative home base whenever she’s back visiting family.

🧡 Today, we pause to remember the children who never returned home, honour residential school survivors, and recognize the lasting impacts of colonialism on Indigenous peoples, families, and communities.

At Birch & Lace, we believe that caring for our community means caring for the people, land, and stories that make this place home. Reconciliation asks us to do more than acknowledge the land beneath our feet — it asks us to listen, learn, reflect, and take meaningful action.
