Where has this been all my life??

Took my rather ‘flat’ 1st ferment kombucha and mixed/diluted with the soda stream carbonated water.*

Omg the combinations are endless. My mind is blown. I love new toys.

Do you do this too??

Garlic scapes done up on BBQ are absolutely delicious.
The BBQ char with hint olive oil is nothing like how they taste raw (although scapes do make a killer pesto)

If you want someone to NEVER eat a garlic scape again, have them try it raw 😱 (scapes be fiery potent just like the raw garlic bulb would be)

I made garlic scape butter last year. Lots folks seem like to pickle them. I’ll post a link in comments with recipe for pickled garlic scapes from:

‘Quick’ Sourdough Scones
Saskatoon/lemon

*Regular recipe calls for 2 cups flour so I used 1 cup flour and 1 cup (pretty active) sourdough starter

*Used up last of my neighbour Kara’s yummy Saskatoons from last year (frozen) and added few drops of my YL lemon 🍋 EO to the sugar.
