I have a passion for math and computers, and hope to leverage both to solve the world's problems. I recently received my Masters Degree in Data Science at the University of British Columbia in Kelowna. When I am not working, I spend my time playing videogames, watching or playing pretty much any sport, as well as listening to and collecting vinyl records.

JustPractice is looking to hire! We are looking for a data scientist with experience in ML NLP and end-to-end model development. This is a full-time position.

We are a startup that focuses on medical data analytics. Our mission is to leverage data analytics to improve healthcare. Through the analysis of different forms of medical data such as EMR data, we are able to help physicians identify opportunities where they can improve patient care. If you are interested in working with us, we have an exciting project for you! Among many of our data needs as a data analytics company, one of our projects is the analysis of echocardiograms. We are currently looking to build an NLP model capable of ingesting unstructured echocardiogram reports dictated by physicians, and structuring them into relational databases. These databases provide physicians with an opportunity to identify patient care gaps, and potentially recall them to address these gaps. This means your work will directly improve the lives of real patients. Iannah graduated from SFU with a Bachelor of Arts in Health Sciences and a Minor in Kinesiology. She is passionate about improving patient care and access to mental health resources. Outside of work, she enjoys walking along the seawall with her pug and eating at different Japanese ramen spots.

As some of you may know, JustPractice in partnership with Dr. Darra Murphy of St. Paul's Hospital Radiology had previously launched a communication app for physicians. Some of you may know it as JustTalk. Our beta gained tremendous momentum and was adopted by physicians across different specialties such as radiology, surgery, neurology, EP cardiology, CTU, etc. Due to the success of our beta launch, we will be launching a more formal, refined app for physicians to seamlessly communicate with one another.
