Hello Everyone,
I would like to start by saying I personally am overwhelmed with all the support, love, thoughts & messages. It is greatly appreciated and i am very grateful for each and every one of them. This is a process, There is still much uncertainty as to the length of time we will be closed for.
It is still a very recent event that my mind is still processing. It all seems surreal to me. The emotions are all over the place.
11 years of building a dream within the community I have grown up around and offering services that I love for over 25 years. Giving others a space they can give back to themselves for some TLC to escape for an hour or two that is just for them.

In saying this, I as well as the team are overwhelmed by all the love. It is a very unfortunate event that has occurred that has led us to be without our home away from home.
I cannot help but think of a few residents that have lost their home and all of their contents. I would love nothing more than anything raised to be passed on to these residents. 💕🙏

Have you tried this beautiful treatment? Ayurvedic Kansa Vatki foot massage is a wonderfully relaxing treatment which helps to balance body, mind and spirit. This unique treatment, steeped in centuries of ceremony, begins by cleansing the feet and legs, followed by some relaxing foot and leg moves. Then, slowly and methodically the toes, feet, ankles and calves are encouraged to relax through the application of massage techniques carried out with the aid of ghee (clarified butter), coconut or other oils.

The particularity of the treatment is the use of a small 3-metal Kansa Vatki bowl to rub onto and stimulate the feet. The 3 metals used are copper, zinc and tin. Copper is thought to help in reducing pain and inflammation, zinc is thought to help in proper functioning of the immune system and digestion while tin is believed to be helpful in digestion, relieving headaches and insomnia.

Marma (acupressure) massage is then performed to work on specific acupressure points – this is a traditional Indian therapy, and is derived from a branch of the martial arts. There are 107 main Marma pressure points around the body, 14 of which can be found on the lower legs and feet. Working these points can help to relieve certain conditions around the body and free the energy flow. Relaxes tired feet. improves blood and lymphatic circulation
enhance joint mobility in the lower limbs
helps to relieve eyestrain and tired eyes
improves the condition of ligaments and muscles of the lower limbs
helps to detoxify the internal organs
increases strength and stamina in the lower limbs
helps in the reduction of stress, anxiety and depression
enhances mental activities
induces sound sleep
calms the body
restores and balances the body’s innate energy


This massage is not only deeply relaxing, but also highly revitalizing for tired feet and legs and while it is good for everyone, it is particularly appreciated by those who spend long time on their feet.
