Hello, my beautiful friends.
I just wanted to hop on here and remind you that I am always up for postpartum doula shifts. I know the Lindsay Clancy trial has been stirring up a lot of emotions, thoughts, and conversations for so many women. If it has brought anything up for you, please know you donβt have to navigate those feelings alone. Iβm here. However you need me.
Postpartum doula support can look so different from one mama to the next because your needs are what matter.
If you need me to come hold your crying baby so you can cry, thatβs what weβll do.
If you need me to sit beside your baby while they sleep so you can finally close your eyes and rest, thatβs what weβll do.
If you need someone to make you a snack, fold some laundry, help with the baby, or simply sit beside you and listen, thatβs what weβll do.
And if you just need someone to talk to, someone who will listen without judgment, without trying to fix everything, and without making you feel like you should have it all together, thatβs what weβll do.
There is no βrightβ way to be postpartum. There is no minimum amount of struggling required before you deserve support.
Please know Iβm here in whatever capacity you need, completely judgment-free. Iβve been deep in those trenches myself, and I know just how heavy, beautiful, overwhelming, lonely, and messy those days can be.
You donβt have to wait until youβre drowning to reach out. π€
