Lately, I’ve been craving the stillness to hear what’s happening under the surface.

I wasn’t called to meditate. Or journal.

But what I did instead,
I started calling “thawing out”.

My follow-up thought was why don’t we give ourselves enough space to do this?

There’s so much on the surface,
And I want to hear the juicy goodness underneath.

I waited longer than I needed to.
Most of us do.

We override what we feel, tell ourselves it’s fine, push through until something forces the shift.

But the tipping point doesn’t have to come from breakdown. It can come from a decision.

From realizing the cost of staying where you are has become too high. From deciding you want to feel secure in yourself, in what you have to offer, and in where you are headed.

That’s the work. Not fixing yourself.

Being in a room with women who are in it too, who don’t need the backstory, and who witness without trying to fix. That does something solo work simply cannot.

The Holding Space is that room.
