Meet Lila Rasa Brown, one of the main teachers of [R]evolution Yoga Teacher Training.

A Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and acupuncturist in BC, as well as a Celtic Shamanic Practitioner, Evolutionary Astrologer, and yoga teacher for over 24 years, Lila is dedicated to the well-being of her clients on every level. She loves weaving together the esoteric with the modern to facilitate experiences of alchemy that create conscious, embodied living. One of her great joys is guiding people into a space of true transformation, encouraging them to discover, honor, and gracefully reveal their most authentic nature through the practices of Celtic Shamanism, Evolutionary Astrology, yoga and meditation, and Chinese Medicine, so they feel empowered to live from this inspired place in the world.

Within [R]evolution Yoga, Lila brings these strands of practice and wisdom into a single living inquiry—one that invites each student to listen deeply, inhabit their experience more fully, and teach from an authentic, embodied place.

[R]evolution Yoga Teacher Training begins in October 2026 at Madhu Wellness Collective in Rossland, BC.

Wild and Kind - Dance and movement series with Sophie Barbarics

This 4- week series is an invitation to perceive your body, your surroundings, and the ways you connect with others. Working in a consistent, closed group allows us to build trust, community, and a shared movement language over time.

We explore sensation, texture, and improvisation—staying with feelings as they arise in the body, without needing to explain them. We search for movement, expand and exaggerate it, and practise choosing the pace that feels right. We learn how to rest without quitting.

The series gently blends improvisation practices inspired by Gaga, ballet, and floorwork with creative phrase-building. Layered tasks accumulate over the 4 weeks rather than replacing one another, supporting deeper coordination, adaptability, and new movement possibilities. Throughout, the body is both the guide and the mediator.

*Exploratory yet precise.
*Sensory yet athletic.
*Grounded yet spacious.

While we encourage participants to attend consistently in order to support the group’s development, missed classes can be made up in another suitable group, subject to space and availability.

$100 + GST for the series
STARTS SEPTMEBRR 28TH @ 6:15-7:15 PM

AN INVITATION TO GO DEEPER

Perhaps the invitation has been arriving quietly.
A recurring thought. A quickening in the heart. A growing desire to understand the philosophy beneath the practice, reconnect with the intelligence of your body, refine your teaching, or discover the voice that belongs distinctly and unmistakably to you.

Perhaps you do not know whether you want to teach at all.

You simply know that yoga is asking you to listen differently.

The [R]evolution 200-Hour Fundamentals or 300-Hour Advanced Teacher Training begins in October 2026 at Madhu Wellness Collective in Rossland, BC.

The 200-Hour Fundamentals training unfolds over nine monthly weekends from October 2026 through June 2027. It is open to dedicated practitioners, and no previous teaching experience is required.

Those who feel called to continue may choose the 300-Hour Advanced Teacher Training pathway. This includes the complete 200-hour Fundamentals training, followed by a 100-Hour Advanced Intensive from September 25–October 2, 2027.

200-Hour Fundamentals

Early bird: $3,200 until September 16, 2026
Regular tuition: $3,600
Payment plan: $3,800 total, or $475 per month from October through May

300-Hour Advanced Teacher Training
Early bird: $4,200 until September 16, 2026
Regular tuition: $4,600
Payment plan: $4,800 total, or $600 per month from October through May

Payment may be made by e-transfer or credit card through JaneApp.

There are moments when the next step arrives as a clear declaration. At other times, it appears as a subtle inner movement—the sense that something within us is ready to be known, nourished, and brought into form.
What has your practice been quietly asking of you?

WHAT A TRAINING WEEKEND FEELS LIKE

By Friday evening, the week may still be clinging to the body—the conversations, responsibilities, momentum, and noise of the days that came before.
And so, we begin by arriving.

We settle into the space, into our bodies, and into the living theme that will accompany us through the weekend. We practise together and begin loosening our grip on everything we think we already know, making room for curiosity, connection, and something new to emerge.

Saturday carries us more deeply into the teachings. Philosophy and mythology meet asana, pranayama, meditation, Evolutionary Astrology, biomechanics, assisting and adjusting, teaching language, and shared inquiry.

There is time to listen and time to move.
Time to ask questions, experiment, practise, observe, and discover how an ancient teaching might speak through the particular circumstances of our contemporary lives.

By Sunday, the individual threads begin weaving themselves together. We explore how a philosophical theme can shape a class, how the movement of a joint can inform an adjustment, and how the quality of our own attention influences the space we create for another person.

We begin teaching—not from performance or perfection, but from presence.

Each weekend builds upon the one before it. Over nine months, the teachings gradually move from something we understand intellectually into something we can feel, embody, express, and carry into our lives.

The 200-Hour Fundamentals Teacher Training meets one weekend each month from October 2026 through June 2027 at Madhu Wellness Collective in Rossland.

Fridays: 5–9 PM
Saturdays: 10 AM–6 PM
Sundays: 9 AM–5 PM

No previous teaching experience is required. Come because you feel called to teach, or simply because your own practice is asking to be met more deeply.

TONIGHT @ 7 PM

TONIGHT @ 7 PM

You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
For a hundred miles through the desert, repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.
Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine.
Meanwhile the world goes on.
Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain
are moving across the landscapes,
over the prairies and the deep trees,
the mountains and the rivers.
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,
are heading home again.
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting --
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things.

-- Wild Geese by Mary Oliver
