The Achilles tendon is the largest and strongest tendon in the body 💪
🤾🏻♂️During running, and jumping the Achilles can experience forces of 6–12 times body weight. When training load increases too quickly the tendon can become irritated and painful.
❌Rest may temporarily calm the pain, but the symptoms often return or worsen when we return to activity after long periods of rest.
