Tomorrow kicks off our DSW Appreciation Event!

☕ DSW Appreciation Event! ☕

Join us June 23, 24, or 25 between 7:00–10:00 a.m. or 1:00–4:00 p.m. at Campden General Store (4205 Fly Rd, Vineland) for a complimentary beverage from the café as a small thank you for everything you do!

Feel free to stop by before or after your shift. If you work at the Fly Road location, the café is close enough to enjoy during your 15-minute or 30-minute break while remaining within walkie range.

Please note this event is for CUPE 2977 unionized staff only, and we ask that the individuals we support not attend. One beverage per person.

This week Heather, Chantel, Christina, Kaitlynn and Brittany attended the CUPE Ontario Convention. It was a busy week where we elected our new CUPE Ontario President, Secretary Treasurer and Executive Board. We participated in an election campaign, made interventions at the mic and heard form some great speakers.
All in all it wa as wonderful week!

Yesterday we dropped not one, not two, but THREE very exciting pieces of news!

First, the Unity Letter signed by the majority of our members was delivered to Bethesdas Board of Directors ✊🏼

IN FAVOUR OF STRIKE

This result is overwhelming and greatly affects how bargaining will go when we meet the employer again at the table again!
