"Will laser hair removal work on thick hair?"

Short answer: yes, and in a good way (for some).

Laser targets pigment (melanin) in the hair. The more pigment present, the more energy the hair can absorb, allowing the follicle to be effectively treated.

That’s why thicker, darker hair tends to respond best:
✨ faster results
✨ more effective reduction

Finer, lighter hair contains less pigment, so it absorbs less energy—meaning results can take longer, require more sessions, and may be minimal in comparison.

This is why a personalized consultation matters. Not all hair (or skin) responds the same, and setting realistic expectations is key.
